Search for a Market

A market search facility is provided to assist you in finding a particular market.

Search for a Specific Market

To search for a market within all available markets:

  1. In the Markets view, tap the Search tab to reveal the Search markets view.
  2. Enter the name of the market you are looking for in the Search field.
  3. Tap [Go] to execute the search.

  4. A list of search results is returned in the Search markets view. The prices for equity markets are initially shown collapsed. Tap the equity market to see the prices for that market. Prices for FX, Indices and Commodities markets are always shown.

    Note: for options markets the prices for the option chain are all expanded and displayed. You do not have to expand to see the prices for each option. Additionally, the delta and volatility for each option in the chain is shown in the Change column.

     

Market Tags

You can narrow the search to markets "tagged" into a specific category. For example: Commodities, FX, or Equities. Most market tags have secondary tags,for example: Commodities -> (Commodities Energy, Commodities Grain, Commodities Soft) and so on.

To perform a search within a specific market tag:

  1. In the Markets view, tap the Search tab to reveal the Search markets view.
  2. Tap the [+] button next to the Within field. A pop-up menu appears with the available market tags that you can select.
  3. Tap the required market tag and secondary tag if applicable. The list of all markets within that tag is displayed.
  4. Enter the name of the market you are looking for in the Search field then tap [Go].

  5. A list of markets within the selected tag that match the search term is returned. The prices for equity markets are initially shown collapsed. Tap the equity market to see the prices for that market. Prices for FX, Indices and Commodities markets are always shown.

    Note: for options markets the prices for the option chain are all expanded and displayed. You do not have to expand to see the prices for each option. Additionally, the delta and volatility for each option in the chain is shown in the Change column.

 

To clear the market tag selection, tap the [X] button.
